Hi Visionary,
Growing up, we didn't own a car. As a family of 7 (six children, single mom) we took the bus Via in San Antonio, Texas, everywhere.
Texas summers, let me tell you, are brutal. And getting 7 of us out the door and onto a bus? That was a full mission for my mom.
But I didn't see the stress back then.
I didn't see the exhaustion in her eyes, the weight of counting quarters, or the mental math she was doing while trying to keep 6 kids calm in 104-degree heat.
I just saw adventure. I saw the joy of movement.
The beauty of getting to go somewhere, anywhere.
I'd sit near the window and stare at the streets as they blurred by.
I wasn't worried about how long it would take or where we were headed.
I just loved the ride.
And maybe that’s what we’re all still chasing, isn’t it? A way back to the part of ourselves that knew how to enjoy the journey.
Before ambition got wrapped in anxiety. Before every move had to “mean something.”
There was peace in that in-between. Presence in the pause.
And I remember thinking, I never want this to end.
As I got older, I traded that peace for pressure.
The girl who once loved the ride became the woman obsessed with the destination: Metrics. Milestones. Proof.
I forgot what it meant to just be present and to trust that movement, not arrival, is what mattered, until I discovered joyful ambition.
⬆️ I Told That Story… And It Fell Flat 😳
I thought I was doing what every coach and content strategist says to do, "share your story." So I told it.
I talked about the Via. About what it meant to be raised without a car and with a single mother.
About that window, that ride, that little girl who found peace in motion.
But it didn't land.
In fact, I received a DM from someone who told me it was "cringe" and didn't belong on LinkedIn.
Not because the story wasn't meaningful. Not because it wasn't true.
But because I hadn't yet learned how to tell it from a place of service, not just memory.
Vulnerability without vision? That's not connection. That's content confusion - especially on a platform like LinkedIn.
And that's when I realized: story alone isn't enough.
Story needs structure.
Your story doesn't need polish. It needs purpose.
Why Strategic Storytelling Isn't Optional
Every week, I talk to brilliant women with powerful lived experiences, who either…
Stay quiet because they don't know how to share without oversharing
Or they fear being misunderstood. Like if they say the wrong thing, show too much, or speak too boldly, it’ll backfire.
So they say nothing, or they say it safe. And that silence? It slowly erodes your self-trust.
Or they tell stories that feel raw, but don't resonate (because there's no structure or clarity)
Here's what they've never been taught:
Your story isn't a highlight reel. It's not a trauma dump.
It's a strategic business asset.
Why We're Wired for Story
We're all obsessed with story. Always have been.
It's why we binge Netflix, Hulu and Youtube.
It's why we stay up way too late reading memoirs and novels.
It's why we get chills when someone shares something real on stage or in a podcast.
Because story doesn't just entertain us.
It helps us make sense of ourselves.
Stories show us what's possible.
They help us feel less alone.
They reveal truth in a way facts and features never can.
And when women silence their stories?
The world misses out on wisdom that could’ve changed someone’s life, or even changed the woman telling it.
Because visibility isn’t vanity. It’s real strength.
We don't buy information. We buy resonance.
And that's exactly what most women are missing when they try to "market" themselves.
That's why I created The M.I.R.R.O.R. Method, a psychology-backed proven framework that helps ambitious women turn their lived experiences into brand-building, client-converting content.
Start With the Moment That Changed Everything
We begin with the "M" in MIRROR: Milestone Moment.
This is the part of your story where something clicked, cracked, or crumbled.
It could be:
The moment you left the job that drained you
The day you finally called yourself a CEO
The low point that birthed your biggest clarity
These aren't memories. They are magnetic markers.
They hold the key to your voice, your value, and your visibility.
Ask yourself: What's a moment I've lived through that changed how I show up or serve?
That moment is where your most powerful content begins.
And when it's told strategically, it doesn't just make people feel, it makes them move.
What Happens When You Tell Your Story with Intention
Here's what happens when you work through the MIRROR Method™:
You stop second-guessing every post and start showing up with clarity.
You find the language that finally does justice to what you've lived through.
You magnetize the right clients—not with gimmicks, but with grounded authority.
You stop overthinking, over-editing, and over-proving.
You write like a woman who knows her story converts.
Because when your story is structured with strategy, you're not just "sharing."
You're leading.
The MIRROR Method Is a Return to Yourself
This isn't another content formula. This is a storytelling framework that helps you:
Name the turning point that changed everything
Understand the belief that almost broke (and rebuilt) you
Find the message that aligns with your mission
Create content that feels like you, and gets results
When you see your own story clearly, your audience finally can too.
That's what The MIRROR Method gives you.
It's Time to Tell Better Cash-Converting Stories
This is the exact method I'm teaching the Pretty Damn Ambitious community members to use to turn their lived experiences into high-converting content.
