Hi Visionary,

My husband and I spent last weekend at SAVOR, the four-day food, drink, golf, and music festival at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort (scroll to the end for a cute pic of the two of us that I’ve been too lazy to post on IG or LinkedIn).

If you are a foodie, you already know the names. Scott Conant. Esther Choi. Kevin Lee. Tiffany Derry. Beau MacMillan. Shota Nakajima. The faces you have watched on Bravo, on Top Chef, on Food Network, in Eater profiles, in every corner of the internet where people who love food gather. John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls closed out the evening with an acoustic set. A celebrity golf challenge ran alongside the whole weekend.

The event was supposed to live across the property all weekend. Texas had other plans, at least for Friday night. May here means rain and tornado sirens going off when you least expect it, and that evening was no exception. So they moved the entire Friday night experience into a couple of massive ballrooms with maybe two hours of notice.

You would not have known.

The music was amazing. The atmosphere was lively. The food was delectable. Every personality, every celebrity chef, was warm and engaging in a way that surprised me even though I should have expected it.

And here is what I sat with on the drive home.
