We made it to June. The weather is warmer, the pace eases off, and I love this stretch of the year for what it lets me do in my businesses.
Two things, mostly.
First, I look back. Not only at the assets and revenue, though I track those closely. I look at how much the business has grown, and even more at how much I have grown. The decisions got easier. The conversations I no longer rehearse.
Then I look ahead at the months still in front of me, and I decide. Stay the course, pivot, or rebuild entirely.
That mid-year vantage is exactly why I want to talk about your pricing right now.
Last week, I showed you the payoff of a number already set. I took the week off. A spa afternoon in the middle, my husband's birthday at the end. My businesses kept earning the whole time because the pricing I set a while ago did the work.
Setting the number was the decision. Holding it is the practice. Last week we sat inside that practice: the held second, the pause after you say your number, and let it stand.
That is the rep.
This week, I want to zoom out. A rep only matters if it adds up over time. June is when you find out whether it has. You are allowed to treat the number as settled. The calculation is behind you. What is worth your attention now is the pattern your number has made all year.
