Hi Visionary,

There’s a woman in my community with an extraordinary gift. The kind of work that transforms how leaders think, perform and show up.

When she first came to me, she was charging $500 a session and even that felt like a stretch.

  • Part of it was fear of rejection. What if they say no? What if I’m not worth it? What if this gift isn’t valuable enough to charge real money for?

  • Part of it was cultural. She grew up in a home where asking for money, especially as a woman, was frowned upon.

  • Part of it was emotional. Every price she stated felt risky.

So what did she do? She strategized from the yee-old hustle harder playbook - undercharged, over-delivered, and hoped people would see her value without her having to claim it.

But over time, something shifted. She got sick of playing the hustle game and indulging in toxic ambition.

So she stopped:

  1. Asking what people would pay and started asking what her work was worth.

  2. Discounting before anyone asked.

  3. Apologizing for her rates.

Today, she charges founders $50,000 to $100,000 a year to work with her.
