Hey Visionary,
A few months ago, I was mentoring a truly brilliant member in my Pretty Damn Ambitious™ community. She's been an entrepreneur for about two and a half years, having left a long and impressive career. Smart. Seasoned. Service-led.
We were role-playing how she pitched her offer on Zoom. I played the client. She walked me through her service, articulate, thoughtful, clear, perfect!
And then she got to the part so many of us secretly fear: her pricing
That's when I noticed it. Her voice dropped. Her tone softened. Her posture shifted. It was as if she were apologizing for asking.
I stopped her. "Let's try again—this time with full volume, full belief."
We ran it back. Same pattern. Strong start… then the quiet fade as soon as she said the number.
I paused her again and asked, "Do you believe in what you're doing? Do you believe in how you serve? Then where's your Conviction?"
She looked down. "I know, I know. I'm working on it," she said. "It's like… I'm afraid of being too much.”
That right there? That's the wound.
We don't just soften our voices. We shrink our value. We hesitate at the price point. We deliver our power as if it were a favor.
But here's the thing I told her: the market mirrors your Conviction. When you hesitate, they do too. When you believe, they follow.
We practiced for the next thirty minutes until her body caught up with her brilliance. Until her voice held. Until her value didn't wobble.
It wasn't about pricing strategy. It was about decision.
Because the truth is...
If You Don't Decide Who You Are, the World Will Do It for You
And, spoiler alert, they will get it wrong, every single time.
You'll get filtered through someone else's lens.
You'll get labeled by someone else's expectations.
You'll start performing for applause you don't even care about.
And then one day you'll wake up asking: "How did I get here?"
Not because you weren't intelligent or capable. But because you waited too long to declare: "This is who I am."
When You Don't Choose, You Drift
Let's get honest: the biggest identity crisis isn't about what you do. It's about who you're afraid to own.
You've done the clarity work and shown courage. You've started to move.
But the second you make a bold claim? Hit publish on something real? Say the thing that feels almost too honest?
The doubt creeps back in:
"Am I even qualified to say this?"
"Who do I think I am to own this space?"
"What if no one believes me?"
Let me tell you what that actually is. That's not a sign to wait.
That's proof you're on the edge of becoming.
But becoming has a shadow side.
You can sit in that in-between forever. Thinking. Planning. Half-showing up. Telling yourself you're "just not ready."
You will stay stuck in becoming until you decide.
When Decision Becomes the Breakthrough
There have been moments in my business (more than I'd like to admit) when everything was ready. The offer was fully developed.
The pricing felt good.
The transformation was proven.
And still, I hesitated.
Not because I didn't believe in the work. But I was worried about who might see it.
I'd think about that former coworker scrolling through LinkedIn. The relative who quietly questioned whether entrepreneurship was a "real job." And in those moments, my boldness would start to blur. My certainty would soften. I would water down my message because I didn't want to feel the heat of being judged for standing in it.
I wasn't questioning the value of what I'd created. I was questioning whether I was "too much" for the people watching.
And that's what so many of us do. We don't change the message because it's wrong, we dilute it because we're afraid of what it reveals. We unconsciously filter our power to avoid discomfort, rejection, or being misunderstood.
Eventually, I had to make a decision.
I had to stop obsessing over what they might think and start aligning with what I already knew.
That the mission was bigger than my fear.
That the people I'm meant to serve can only find me when I stop hiding. So I posted the thing. Said the thing. Launched the thing.
Not perfectly, but fully present.
And every time I've made that decision, every time I've chosen Conviction over comfort, the momentum has followed.
It was about giving myself permission to take up space, as much as I want without apology.
Because clarity matters. Courage matters.
But Conviction? That's what opens the door to everything else.
No One Hands You Identity
I remember the first time I introduced myself as a CEO.
Not in my head, but out loud.
It was clunky. I didn't feel "ready." I didn't have a huge team. But I said it anyway.
No one handed me a title. No one tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Okay, it's time." I had to name it before anyone else would see it.
That's the thing no one tells you:
The moment you decide is the moment the world begins to adjust.
Not the other way around.
If you keep waiting to feel confident before you claim the next level, you'll wait forever.
You've moved. You've shown up scared. You've taken the leap.
But this next level of this work is about anchoring.
Not in what you do, but in who you are.
Because that's what people are buying.
That's what they're drawn to.
That's what gives your brand gravity:
Your Conviction.
Credibility Follows Conviction
We've been conditioned to wait.
Wait for proof. Wait for applause. Wait for letters behind your name. Wait for the logo carousel of big brands. Wait until someone else validates the version of you that you already see.
But the most magnetic people online, the ones building movements, communities, businesses that matter?
They're not always the most credentialed.
They're the most convicted.
They decided they were the voice. The guide. The expert. The founder. Long before the world confirmed it.
And because they believed it first? Others followed.
Conviction doesn't require perfection.
It requires commitment:
To the message that won't leave you alone.
To the identity that feels a little wild to say out loud.
To the future you, the one you keep dreaming about and waiting to feel qualified to become.
Let me be clear, Conviction isn't confidence.
It's alignment with your assignment.
Who You Are Is a Choice
Here's the truth most people are afraid to admit: if you wait for permission to step into your identity fully, you'll always feel like an imposter.
And that feeling you're afraid of, the discomfort, the exposure, the vulnerability?
That's not something to avoid. It's a rite of passage.
It means you're doing something real. It means you're moving from concept into embodiment.
So say it scared. Show up before it's all perfect. Call yourself the thing—before anyone claps.
Decide now. Become her later.
This Is IT
I'm done waiting for the world to approve who I already am.
I'm not seeking permission. I'm standing in alignment, and letting the world catch up.
If you're with me?
Say yes and mean it!
The Phrase That Snapped It Into Focus
There was one phrase that heard a few years ago while riding my Peloton, it changed everything for me. The moment I heard it, something locked into place.
I'll share it next week, because I want you to hear it in the exact context it was said.
And trust me, once you hear it…
You'll stop asking "Am I allowed?" and start asking "What now?"
Your Moment is Now
You don't need to be sure. You need to decide.
You don't need more approval. You need alignment.
You don't need to earn your title. You need to wear it.
Believe me, the world will catch up.
The clients will catch up.
The confidence will catch up.
But they won't move until you do.
So ask yourself, Who are you waiting on to confirm what you already know?
Then decide. Say it out loud. Move like it's already true.
Decide now. Become her later.
To your continued success,
Bianca
