Hi Visionary,

When I was five, I experienced my first tornado in my grandmother’s home in South Central Texas.

I remember playing outside like it was any other day until I heard the urgency in her voice as she called from the porch to get inside. As the sky turned green my two older brothers rushed to pull me along as I stared curiously at the sky, not fully understanding what was coming.

The four of us huddled in a tiny interior bathroom, as the walls quaked and rattled.

I heard a sound I’ll never forget; it was like a freight train charging through the house.

As my grandmother prayed, I just sat there, wide-eyed on the side of the tub, trying to understand what was happening.

When we came out, the neighborhood was barely recognizable.

Two houses to the left were almost leveled. Homes across the street were damaged beyond belief.

Ours was shaken but still standing.

The thing about tornadoes is that they don’t give you much warning.

One moment, you’re fine. The next, you’re surrounded by wreckage.

And that’s what overload is like, too.

You think you’re okay; you’re functioning, performing, and doing everything until you’re not.

Until you can’t keep holding it all together, no matter how hard you try.

Because, I've been down the path of burnout.

I want to make damn sure this doesn’t happen to you.

Because you’ve got too much at stake to let it all fall apart.

Right?

Where We’ve Been

Over the past two weeks, we’ve had some honest conversations.

  • I shared the truth behind overload, which looks productive from the outside but quietly drains your clarity, energy, and momentum. I told you about my own experience: traveling nonstop, constantly saying yes, and realizing I was running in circles. Making progress, but not the kind I knew I was capable of.

  • Then, I walked you through how to start breaking that cycle by identifying your 80/20 Power Moves, and saying one intentional “no” every single week.

The response? Incredible. Two of you grabbed strategy sessions (only 2 left!)

You’ve been emailing me saying you’ve finally making space to think clearly again.

Here’s what one of you kind souls said:

“After reading last week’s email, I finally said no to a big collaboration that didn’t align. Within days, I landed a dream client that felt like an absolute yes. Saying no didn’t slow me down. It set me free.”

A Reset That Just Works

As my previous two emails promised, today, I’m giving you a tool I wish I had years ago.

It’s fast. It’s honest.

And it will tell you exactly what kind of ambition you’re operating from.

Are you clear, aligned, and moving with purpose?

Or are you stuck in a cycle of performance, perfection, and pressure?

This free quiz will take less than 3 minutes — and you’ll get a customized result with next steps.

There is no judgement here. This isn’t about diagnosing you. It’s about freeing you.

What you’ll get from the quiz:

  • A quick clarity check-in

  • A custom insight based on where you are right now

  • A path forward, without the pressure

Whether your result shows that you’re thriving or just barely holding it together, you’re not doing this alone.

  • If you’re in overload: I created the Ambition Detox - A Strategic Guide to Eliminate Overload, a step-by-step process that I guide you through to clear the clutter, reset your goals, and take your power back.

  • If you’re already aligned: Amazing. I’ll show you how to go even deeper where ambitious women are growing and without being overloaded.

The Soft Power of Letting Go

Here’s the thing about spring, I love and I hate it.

I love the renewal.

Swapping heavy winter layers for light, breathable pieces.

Reconnecting with friends after our quiet, cozy hibernation.

The flowers, the color, the energy of everything waking up again.

But I also sort of hate spring.

The tornado warnings that hijack the calm. The damaging hail.

The allergies, the bugs, the chaos that comes with all that newness.

It’s beautiful, but messy.

Invigorating, but unpredictable.

And honestly?

So is ambition.

Ambition can bring fresh energy and possibility, just like spring.

But when it’s tangled up with misalignment and overload — it stops feeling light and starts feeling heavy.

That’s why, this time of year, I don’t just clean out closets.

I clean out my ambition. I let things go.

I check to ensure what I’m doing is aligned and say no to opportunities that just don’t fit, no matter how tempting they maybe.

This season is about becoming more of who you already are.

Not proving. Not performing.

Just reconnecting to what lights you up. And sometimes, that means letting go.

Taking the quiz will help you do just that. Give yourself this moment.

You deserve to know where you stand.

And let’s make the rest of this quarter and year lighter, clearer, and truly yours.

However you decide to move forward — know you’re not meant to do this alone.
